wayne701  Wayne Williams has over 38 years experience
   in the mechanic
al services industry. He grew Williams
   and Burns from

   turning ov
er $6 million dollars per year.  He leads a
   team of ex
perts in their field – tradespeople
experienced in a range of different projects in all kinds

of industries.

If you look over the major projects designed, installed
and completed in the greater gippsland over the past
twenty years there is a chance Wayne has something
to do with it from the R.A.A.F Base in Sale to Inghams
chickens in Geelong Wayne has been instrumental in
significant parts of the process. He brings knowledge
both from a hands on and construction angle. A valued
                                       member of the JBW team.

Wayne’s commitment to developing the young people
of the Gippsland is evident - Williams and Burns has a
tradition of nurturing apprentices and currently employs
6 young people in this role.

“I want with all my businesses not just that ‘did the job’
but that we are proud of the job we have done, but,
again not just proud because that is our job but a real
                                       pride to our industry.”

Darren Burns The history and prestige of
Williams and Burns is maintained with the fresh
dynamism of JBW – and Darren Burns is a key figure
in maintaining this success. Commencing the
company in 1990 after many years ‘hands on’
Darren has taken a  two man business to one
employing 20 including 6 apprentices. Along the way
the man with the golden touch also opened a sheet
metal fabrication plant to support the companies demand
of commercial duct work ,this has also taken off, a
business Darren still has part ownership of today.
In 2005 an opportunity to be involved in ducted vacuum
industry became available and Darren jumped- knowing
his success in other businesses- his presence is already
                                        being felt throughout the industry.

Darren Burns holds the valued balance of technical and
management skills that ensures the success of not only
his own company, but also the many projects he
oversees. He has installed, managed and overseen
projects in commercial and industrial air conditioning,
including mechanical services, dust extraction, and
                                        vacuum systems.

Some of the many successful installations include:

                                         •  Coal smelter Newcastle Dust extraction

                                         •  Power station Ipswich Cooling Tower

                                         •  Raaf Base Sale Mechanical ventilation Fuel Lab

                                         •  Latrobe valley Cancer care Mechanical services /
                                            wet vacuum system

                                        •  22 story national mutual building Melbourne
                                            Mechanical services

“I am a strong believer of the systems to maintain
indoor air quality. It is my opinion that vacuuming with
portable machines and re circulating the air back into
the space can not be good for indoor air quality
especially where eg hospitals and diseases
are concerned. My view is that the only place for
a vacuum cleaner is out side the building.”
